This page exists to help everyone understand how this space works day to day. The goal here is shared understanding, not enforcement.
When possible, speak from your own experience. If you’re sharing something you’ve personally done or observed, say so. If you’re passing along something you’ve read or heard elsewhere, that’s fine too — just make that distinction clear. Both kinds of contributions are valuable when they’re labeled honestly.
Herbal medicine is nuanced, and what works well for one person may not work the same way for another. Try to avoid absolute statements or guarantees. Conversations here are strongest when they leave room for variation, uncertainty, and individual context.
Safety matters. If a discussion involves children, pregnancy, serious medical conditions, or particularly strong herbs or preparations, approach it conservatively and with care. When something isn’t clear or certain, it’s better to say so than to overstate.
This is a peer community. There’s no place here for sales pressure, authority posturing, or “listen to me or else” behavior. Ideas should be able to stand on their own, without force or status behind them.
Buying and selling is allowed, but the Marketplace is a privilege that comes with responsibility. Honesty, clarity, and restraint matter. Access may be limited for new accounts until some trust is established within the community.
Moderation here is intentionally light, but it does exist. Moderators are here to keep discussions on track, move threads to better sections when needed, and step in if something starts to go sideways. Most issues are handled quietly. If a moderator asks you to adjust something, it isn’t personal.
If something feels off, unclear, or worth improving, use the Suggestions Box to speak up. This forum isn’t fixed in stone — it will evolve with the people who participate in it.
